11-17 year olds of all abilities.

Subsidised 'Residential, Exciting, Active, Leisure', experiences
for yps from 3 areas of England (Cornwall and Devon, Cumbria and
Nottinghamshire)
Who Is
Funding It?
Lottery New Opportunities Fund
Who Is
Leading It?
Connexions is local lead office responsible for promoting Get Real
to yps from Cornwall and Devon, others are Nottingham Youth Service
and Brathay Trust.
What
Activities?
Ranging from dance, music, digital video production to survival,
canoeing, sports.
Where
& When?
Providers across country - BCTV, exsportise, Brathay, PGL, Outward
Bound, Active Training and Education, Notts County Council.
Cost
Contribution of £50-100 needed towards cost of activities.
Bursaries for families on low income. Public transport costs covered
by Get Real.

Complete application form and return to PO Box 96, Launceston. Phone
0800 587 91 95 for application
forms.
Target
750 places for young people from Devon and Cornwall.
