Safer Communities Torbay Structure

A group of senior officers from each of the partner agencies are in charge of Safer Communities Torbay (SCT) and they are called the Safer Communities Joint Commisioning Executive Group (SCJCE). Caroline Taylor the Deputy Chief Executive for Torbay Council is the Chairperson for the SCJCE.

• Supt Jim Nye - Torbay Area Commander Devon and Cornwall Police
• Mayor Gordon Oliver - Elected Mayor of Torbay and Devon and Cornwall Police Authority
• Robbie Wood - Torbay Area Commander Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service
• Ian Ansell - Assistant Chief Officer Devon and Cornwall Probation Trust
• Richard Williams - Executive Head Children’s Services
• Nigel Denning - Manager Torbay Youth Offending Team

• Frances Hughes - Executive Head Community Safety Torbay Council
• Kirsty Mooney - Community Safety Manager
