What is Criminal Justice?

Criminal justice is the application or study of laws relating to criminal behavior. In England and Wales criminal justice is managed by the criminal justice system, often referred to as the CJS. A wide number of agencies work together to deliver criminal justice, including Devon and Cornwall Police the Crown Prosecution Service, Her Majesty’s Court Service and the National Offender Management Service (covering the Prison Service and Probation Service).
