Criminal justice is the application or study of laws relating to criminal behavior. In England and Wales criminal justice is managed by the criminal justice system, often referred to as the CJS. This is one of the major public services in the country. To find out more visit the Ministry of Justice.
A wide number of agencies work together to deliver criminal justice, including Devon and Cornwall Police the Crown Prosecution Service, Her Majesty’s Court Service and the National Offender Management Service (covering the Prison Service and Probation Service).
