How does the Youth Justice System work?

You can take a walk through the youth justice system on the Youth Justice Board wesbite. On the site you can find out about each stage of the system, along with details about who and what is involved.

There are teams called Youth Offending Teams (YOTs) who oversee many parts of the youth justice system. YOTs supervise young offenders and they also try to tackle the root causes of their offending behaviour.
