For a parent, talking to a child about sex isn’t always easy. It probably isn’t always easy for a child to talk to a parent about sex either. Sex is ‘one of those subjects’ but here at Safer Communities Torbay we think it’s better to talk about these things (even if it’s a bit awkward).

As a parent you may like to know that there is sex advice for young people on our website. Although we hope this doesn’t offend you we think it’s important to give young people enough information to help them make informed choices. On our website we do direct young people to the Childline website and a local service call Sexwize.
